Rockies Car Show

Case Study

The Rockies Car Show is a community-driven event aimed to support the East Kootenay Foundation for Health in their fundraising efforts to purchase a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the East Kootenay Regional Hospital. Our role was to increase awareness of the event, ensuring that the community was not only informed about the show but also about the critical cause it supported.

Details:
To achieve this we developed a new website and executed a targeted two-month social media campaign leading up to the event.

Website:
Given the unique challenges of this project, particularly the lack of available photography for classic cars, we leveraged advancements in AI technology to create the necessary visual content. The website was built entirely using AI-generated images and content, which allowed us to maintain a high level of visual appeal and thematic consistency.

Other key features of the website included:
  • Online Registration and Payment: Participants could easily register and pay for their spot in the car show directly through the website.
  • Sponsor Showcase: We dedicated a page to highlight the numerous sponsors who contributed to the event, reflecting the broad community support.
  • Silent Auction Preview: The website also featured a section showcasing the items available in the silent auction, encouraging attendees to participate and contribute further to the cause.

Social Media Marketing:
To extend the reach of the event, we conducted a focused two-month social media campaign. This campaign utilized both organic and paid strategies to engage with the local community. The paid ads successfully reached thousands of people, generating significant awareness and interest in the event.

Results:
The collective efforts of the community, sponsors, and event organizers culminated in the Rockies Car Show being a resounding success with over $65,000 in funds raised.
