The Spirit of the Rockies Festival has been a cornerstone of Cranbrook’s community spirit for many years, and we at Genex have been honoured to support this cherished event since 2017. As a longstanding community partner, we have provided web development, social media marketing, and design services to help the festival continue thriving.
- Virtual Scavenger Hunt: When the festival was canceled due to the pandemic, the organizers were seeking ways to keep the community engaged and support local businesses. They spearheaded a virtual parade and together we developed a virtual scavenger hunt where participants followed clues to local business websites to find a hidden image and win prizes. The initiative helped the festival maintain its connection with the community in a fun and innovative way even during challenging times.
- Rebrand: In 2023 the festival embarked on a significant rebranding journey to refresh its identity. We had the privilege of contributing to this effort by developing a new logo, brand materials, website, and marketing plan utilizing social media.
